PLAY IN A DAY 2014, CALABAR, NIGERIA

Moji  recently returned to the UK, from Nigeria where she set up a drama club for children and  initiated other exciting new projects for the James Ene Henshaw Foundation. She ran a series of workshops covering topics ranging from Acting for Stage, Directing, Devising for Stage, Audition Preparation, CV Advice Clinic, Talking Headshots and Preparing a Bio.

The JEHF Play-In-A-Day Challenge held on Friday 9th May 2014 at the Cultural center, Calabar brought over six hundred school children and young people from 20 primary and secondary schools in the city for a unique dramatic experience.

At a time when the issues involving children are in the news and foremost on our minds, the event was a beacon of hope, highlighting the power and creativity inherent in our young people, and the hope that if nurtured and cared for, our younger ones will have the skills and creativity for solutions to many of the world's problems that we, as yet, have not been able to solve.
